This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you may and may not do with Taromi's online tarot-reading service with AI-generated interpretations (the "Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to every question you submit and every reading generated in response.
1. Purpose
This Policy exists to keep Taromi safe, lawful, and respectful of the people who might be discussed in or affected by a question or reading. It also reflects the content rules our service providers — including our AI provider — require us to enforce as a condition of operating the Service.
2. Permitted Use
You may use the Service to ask a question and receive a tarot reading and AI-generated interpretation for lawful, personal purposes — for example, reflecting on a decision, a relationship, or a situation in your own life, and reviewing, saving, or discussing the reading the Service produces for you.
3. Prohibited Content
You may not use the Service to submit a question, or attempt to obtain a reading, that:
- Is unlawful or infringes another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- Sexualizes or exploits minors in any way — we have zero tolerance for this and will report it where required by law;
- Seeks a real diagnosis, prescription, legal opinion, financial recommendation, or other professional advice dressed up as a tarot question — see "Not Professional Advice" in the Privacy Policy and Terms;
- Promotes hate, harassment, or discrimination against a person or group;
- Promotes or glorifies self-harm, suicide, or extreme violence;
- Facilitates illegal activity; or
- Attempts to bypass, probe, or manipulate the Service or its underlying AI provider, for example to extract system instructions or generate content outside the scope of a tarot reading.
We may decline to generate a reading, remove stored content, or suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe this Policy has been violated.
4. How Questions Are Handled
Taromi does not run a separate automated content-moderation check on your question before generating a reading. Your question is sent to our AI provider (see the Privacy Policy) to generate the interpretation, and that provider applies its own content rules and can itself decline to respond to a request that violates them; a declined request does not consume your daily reading allowance.
Repeated or serious violations of this Policy, whether caught by the AI provider declining a request or found afterward, can lead to suspension or termination of your account.
5. Reporting Abuse
If you believe a reading generated through the Service, or another user's use of the Service, violates this Policy, tell us at [email protected]. We review reports and take action where warranted, which can include removing content or suspending an account.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy as the Service changes. We will post the updated version here with a revised effective date. Continued use after the revised Policy takes effect means you accept it to the extent permitted by applicable law.
